In his innovative multi-faceted approach, which lays at the intersection between Physics and Chemistry, Nunzi investigates the mechanisms driving photonics in organic materials and nano-structures that matter for life. The research on Photonics for Life will find specific applications in major areas of science and technology like photonics for energy, self-organization and optical computing, and the bio-medical interface.
