With the massive industrial development of high definition screens for mobile applications, organic light emitting devices (OLEDs) have become a very mature technology. Nevertheless, several high-end challenging issues still remain unsolved. Long-term objective of the program is to push OLED technology beyond today’s limits. That is to build and demonstrate direct injection organic lasers, organic room temperature emitters of single photons on demand and circular light emitting diodes.
