Efficient Electric Vehicles with Hybridized Energy Storage Systems

本次CRC第二任期的主要目标是为电动汽车的快速发展做出贡献，并专注于动力总成的研发，以达到最高的性能和效率。针对主要问题，拟议的研究计划分为三个具体目标：(1)开发可靠的模块化储能系统，在延长使用寿命的情况下包含多种能源，以提高动力总成性能；(2)设计基于宽带隙晶体管和混合励磁同步电机的改进型功率转换器，以提高动力总成效率；(3)开发合适和优化的能量管理系统。这些结果将导致原创投稿发表在高排名的期刊上，并培训11名HQP。

The main objective for this CRC 2nd Term is to contribute to electric vehicles rapid advancements demand and concentrates on powertrain R&D to reach highest performance and efficiency. Targeting major issues, the proposed research program is divided in 3 specific objectives: (1) developing reliable and modular energy storage systems that encompass multiple energy sources within extended lifetime operations, to improve powertrain performance; (2) designing improved power converters based on wide bandgap transistors and hybrid excitation synchronous motors, to improve powertrain efficiency; and (3) developing suitable and optimized energy management systems. The results will lead to original contributions published in high-ranked journals and train 11 HQP.
