项目摘要
The main objective for this CRC 2nd Term is to contribute to electric vehicles rapid advancements demand and concentrates on powertrain R&D to reach highest performance and efficiency. Targeting major issues, the proposed research program is divided in 3 specific objectives: (1) developing reliable and modular energy storage systems that encompass multiple energy sources within extended lifetime operations, to improve powertrain performance; (2) designing improved power converters based on wide bandgap transistors and hybrid excitation synchronous motors, to improve powertrain efficiency; and (3) developing suitable and optimized energy management systems. The results will lead to original contributions published in high-ranked journals and train 11 HQP.
