Additive Manufacturing getting more of an interest in recent years for different material as metal and in different industries such as aerospace. The process by itself is expensive in terms of time and expertise. So there is a need to automate the parts we can in order to reduce the manual steps in the process. One of these manual step is the calculation of multi-axis tool path of a given CAD model. In this project, the goal is to automatically produce multi-axis tool paths for any given (possibly complex) surface by using the mesh of the surface. This process also needs some modification of the mesh along the path based on the specification of the surface. Knowing how to process the mesh of the surface in order to produce the multi-axis tool path, we are also been able to 3D print any arbitrary volume given as a CAD model as the final step of this project.
