Transit App is a leading transit mapping and trip planning app in North America. This research aims to develop an intelligent trip recommendation system for Transit App to improve users' travel experience. The developed algorithms will be applied to Transit App to prompt the most likely destinations and transit services (e.g., the line and direction of the bus/metro, the mode of travel) for the next trip when the user opens the app, simplifying the navigation process for the user. This research can greatly enhance the convenience and attractiveness of public transit services.
