项目摘要

Develop a working concept system based on an autonomous guided vehicle (AGV), a collaborative robot and amultitude of vision systems. The vision systems would be mounted on the robot for the purpose of performing vision inspections. The novel proof of concept is an AGV with a robotic arm mounted on it can maneuver to an intended location, where the robot arm would be set in motion to capture images and send them to an AIbased server for evaluation. The vision inspections would range from simple presence/absence inspections,traceability inspections and vision guided robotics inspections. Some of the inspection would require artificial intelligence (AI) based software that uses wireless technology for image transfer and decision making. Theconcept developed as part of this project would be utilized for applications such as aerospace assemblyverification, vegetable harvesting and vision guided robotics inspections.
