Quantum science is the basis for revolutionary changes in information processing and in advanced materials design and fabrication. This initiative will cement Canada’s position as a key player in this revolution. Our scientific strategy is to create a unique synergy between quantum materials and quantum information science based on their common subset of experimental tools and common intellectual basis. Innovation will be fuelled by our strong ties to engineering, key industrial partners, and wide network of international collaborators. Université de Sherbrooke’s knowledge mobilization strategy will create a seamless flow from quantum science discoveries to quantum technology.
