大型集团化企业是我国经济的重要支柱和实现"提高大中型企业核心竞争力"目标的关键载体。课题拟聚焦大型企业集团管控问题，立足现实管理实践，以管控模式的形成及转型变革为主线，展开组织演化论视角的动态过程研究，以期构建起能优化母子公司间关系及子公司之间关系的集团管控理论，并在演化过程内生机制探究中尝试应用"反绎"推理方式，推动动态过程组织理论的丰富与发展。课题将对中国企业集团管控模式多样性、管控机制构成及对集团竞争优势影响、管控模式变异及多样化生成机制和演进路径特征等展开研究，形成体现转型经济体本土化特色的多业务组织理论体系。主要研究对象为央企集团和一些大型民企集团。课题创新体现在：在共时性研究中识别管控模式多样性的存在，并建立跨层次的模式类型化分析框架；通过管控策略创新，揭示管控模式演化的内生力量及过程机理；对管控模式演化轨迹展开历时性研究，阐释转轨经济体中企业集团管控模式演化的动力与路径特征。

Large business groups are the mainstay of our country's economy and key carriers to realize the goal of improving core competitiveness of large and medium-sized enterprises. Focusing on the control issues of large business groups and basing on actual management practices, this project takes the formation and transformational change of group control modes as the main line and analyzes the dynamic process from the perspective of organizational evolution theory. The aim is to build a sound theory of group controls to optimize the relationship between parent-subsidiaries and those among subsidiaries, applying "abduction" as a way of inference in exploring the endogenous mechanism of group-control modes evolution to promote the enrichment and development of organizing theory emphasizing on dynamic processes. In details, the project will study the varieties of control modes in Chinese large business groups, the composition and combination of control measures and their impact on the competitive advantages of the groups, the variation of control modes, the generation mechanism of varieties, and the characteristics of their evolutionary paths, with the purpose to build a localized organizing theory representing the evolution process of Chinese multi-business organizations during economic transition. Taking state-owned enterprise groups and some large private groups as the major research objects, the project will make the following contributions: identifying the varieties of group-control modes and, upon the categorization of control modes, proposing a cross-level synchronic framework; revealing the endogenous forces and their driving processes to bring about the innovative control strategies; making a diachronic study on the trajectories of Chinese group-control modes to explain the dynamics and path features in the evolution of control modes in China's large business groups during economic transition.
