许氏平鲉营卵胎生生殖,是研究鱼类繁殖模式的典型代表。区别于卵生鱼类,为获得更加优良的雄性基因并保证物种的多样性,雌性许氏平鲉通常与多尾雄鱼交配,储存精子数月,直至卵细胞发育成熟方开始受精。这种父本来源不明的现象对许氏平鲉种质改良和优良品种保持非常不利。因此,研究其交配行为的启动及其机制具有非常重要的理论意义和实践价值。前列腺素由卵巢组织合成,是卵生鱼类中最具代表性的性外激素之一。我们通过前期实验初步证实,前列腺素可以诱导许氏平鲉交配行为的发生,但其行使功能的分子机制尚不明确。因此,在我们前期研究的基础上,本研究以卵胎生经济鱼类许氏平鲉为研究对象,通过一系列生理学手术,细胞生物学,分子生物学实验技术,结合高通量测序分析,系统解析前列腺素启动许氏平鲉交配行为的作用机理,揭示其交配行为的调控机制,为卵胎生鱼类人工选育的建立奠定理论基础并提供实践指导。

Black rockfish (Sebastes schlegelii), an ovoviviparous teleost, is considered as a model for the research on the fish reproductive strategy. Different from oviposition teleost, the black rockfish often mate with different males to obtain better male gene and maintain the diversity of the species, then store the sperm inside the ovary until the oocyte mature several months later. However, this phenomenon goes against the purpose for the breed improvement and maintenance of advanced characters in the black rockfish. In regard to this, understanding the mechanism for the activation of mating behavior should be very important both theoretically and practically. Prostaglandins were found to be effectively induce the ovulation in oviparous teleost, in addition, it was also one of the most representative pheromones, which induces synchronization of mating behavior among individuals. While the information was limited to the oviparous teleost, less is known in oviposition fish. Accordingly, in the present study, we employed the oviposition black rockfish, using the physiological surgery, molecular biology and cellular experimental method, combine with bioinformatics to investigate the mechanism of PGs inducing the mating behavior of black rockfish. As a whole, our study will increase our knowledge to the triggering the mating behavior, and will provide a solid theoretical foundation for developing method of artificial breeding selection in oviposition fish.
