优先项目“嗅觉综合分析”正在申请为期三年的第二轮，将在非常成功的初始阶段基础上再接再厉。我们的目标是通过分子、生理、神经解剖学、行为和计算研究项目在嗅觉编码中的整合，了解嗅觉编码是如何跨物种发挥作用的。我们的愿景是为嗅觉研究建立一个“扁平的世界”，具有很高的可见度，即使在资助期之后也是可持续和持久的。我们实现这一目标的工具是，从中央行政项目(这项申请)的角度来看，促进各级的沟通、科学交流、个人联系和熟人：PIS和博士，他们将形成明天的社区。我们的目标是在不丧失竞争力的情况下创造一种合作文化，并提供支持(例如孕期支持)，以防止优秀的研究人员离开科学。我们将通过一系列高级别的科学会议，将SPP和德国嗅觉社区整合到一个遍布世界的大型网络中。

The priority program “Integrative Analysis of Olfaction” is applying for the second round of three years, and will build on a very successful initial phase. Our goals are to understand how olfactory coding works, across species, through the integration of molecular, physiological, neuroanatomical, behavioral and computational research projects in olfactory coding. Our vision is a “flat world” for olfactory research that has a high visibility and is sustainable and lasting even beyond the funding period. Our tools to achieve this are, from the point of view of the central administrative project (this application), to foster communication, scientific exchange, personal contacts and acquaintances at all levels: PIs as well as PhDs, who will form tomorrow’s community. We aim at creating a culture of cooperativity without loss in competitiveness, and provide support (e.g. maternity support) to prevent good researchers from leaving science. We will integrate the SPP and the German olfactory community in a large network across the world through a number of high-level scientific Meetings.
