Timing and phenology shifts in interacting plant - herbivore - predator systems (C03)

这个生态时序项目的目的是揭示昼夜节律、物候（季节时序）和物候变化对营养级联上相互作用的物种适合度的影响。我们将在气候室、温室和田间实验中研究(i)不同纬度的日照长度对营养级联的影响；（ii）昼夜节律性和（iii）日照长度对蚜虫及其捕食者的适应性影响；（iv）蚜虫从无翅形态向有翅形态转变后的形态和生理反应；(v)光周期和温度对食草动物及其天敌冬眠和羽化物候的重要性。

The aim of this ecological timing project is to reveal effects of day-night rhythms, phenology (seasonal timing) and phenology shifts on the fitness of interacting species along trophic cascades. We will study (i) the effects of day length at different latitudes on trophic cascades in climate chamber, glasshouse and field experiments, (ii) day-night rhythmicity and (iii) fitness effects of day length on aphids and their predators, (iv) morphological and physiological responses of aphids after transition of wingless to winged morphs and (v) the importance of photoperiod and temperature on hibernation and emergence phenology of herbivores and their natural enemies.
