Development of global standard for health need assessment among disabled people in disasters

本研究的目的是为评估残疾人灾害周期的健康需求制定亚洲标准。参与者是在日本或中国经历过灾难的矫形障碍者。采用访谈法进行个案研究。修正了世卫组织制定的《国际功能、残疾和健康分类》中的人口统计数据和项目。因此，1)保健需求及其出现期因残疾人的残疾时间而异；2)灾后1个月至半年左右出现的需求；3)获取信息的需求以及除ICF项目外的供应和公共服务准备。虽然参与者难以获得，但建议在ICF中增加新的项目。

The purpose of this study was to develop Asia standard for assessing health needs with disaster cycle among disabled people. Participants were orthopedically-impaired people with experiencing disasters in Japan or China. Case study with interview was conducted. Demographic data and items in International Classification of Functioning, Disability and Health (ICF) that was developed by WHO were corrected. As the results, 1) health needs and its emerging period were differ depending on when the person was disabled, 2) needs emerging within 1 month and around half year after disasters, 3) needs for access to information and preparedness for supply and public services in addition to items of ICF. Although difficulty to get participants exists, new items in ICF were suggested.
