Telling Stones - Megaliths on Sumatra

《告诉石头2.0》是《告诉石头--苏门答腊岛上的巨石》项目为期一年的延伸，自2019年以来，该项目对苏门答腊岛及其近海岛屿尼亚斯岛上的所有巨石和巨石建筑进行了系统的记录。其目的是将收集的数据传输到地理参考在线数据库。由于大流行期间的旅行限制，并不是所有拥有重要巨石遗骸的地区都可以完全调查。因此，在后续项目期间，必须在帕斯马高原、南苏门答腊岛的普贡拉哈霍和尼亚斯岛完成文件工作。将从区域和超区域的角度对所有收集到的数据进行评价，以解释巨石的时间发展和空间背景。这些数据将结合在一起，以完成苏门答腊岛和尼亚斯岛巨石文化的社会解释的启发式框架。

“Telling Stones 2.0” is the one-year-long extension of the project “Telling Stones – Megaliths on Sumatra”, which since 2019 conducts the systematic documentation of all megaliths and megalithic buildings on Sumatra and its offshore island Nias. The aim is the transfer of collected data into georeferenced online database. Due to travel restrictions during the pandemic, not all regions with important megalithic remains could have been completely surveyed. Therefore, during the follow-up project, documentation work has to be completed on the Pasemah-Plateau and in Pugung Raharjo in South-Sumatra and on Nias Island. All gathered data will be evaluated in a regional as well as over-regional perspective to interpret the megaliths in their chronological development and spatial context. The data will be combined to complete the heuristic frame for the social interpretation of megalithic cultures on Sumatra and Nias.
