Chiral magnets are an exciting class of topological matter harboring localized and topologically protected vortex-like magnetic textures called skyrmions, which are currently under intense scrutiny as an entity for information storage and processing. The main focus of the community so-far was and is on metallic bulk, film and thin-film systems. In this proposal, we focus on the oxidation and oxides at interfaces with metals and all-oxide interfaces for skyrmionics. Oxide interfaces offer a new perspective due to their response to electric fields, low ohmic losses and magnetic damping, thickness dependence, variety of interface symmetry, tunability due to oxidization and prospective anisotropic Dzyaloshinskii-Moriya interaction providing the perspective of coexistence of skyrmions and antiskyrmions, and open a natural route for skyrmions in antiferro- and frustrated non-coplanar magnets. Using a three-pronged scale-bridging approach combining density functional calculations with a generalized spin-lattice model containing the Heisenberg and the Dzyaloshinskii-Moriya interaction as well as the magnetic anisotropy and the dipolar interaction, with micromagnetism, we explore materials combinations for interfaces that offer great potentials for hosting skyrmions, investigate their phase diagram, stability and dynamics, their size as a function of external magnetic and electric fields and temperature. We study optimal parameters for manipulating the skyrmions size for memristive purpose.
