A House-Planning Study Which Encourages the Independence of the familin Terms of Lifestyle Management

本研究的目的是发展房屋规划，使所有家庭成员都有独立的生活方式。我们所说的独立是指在家里的独立，也就是说，以一种自我激励的方式完成基本家务的能力。我的目的是创造一种基于整个家庭参与家务和生活方式管理的生活方式。本研究采用了两种方法。首先，它重新审视了谁应该负责家务的刻板观念，其次，它把家看作是做家务的工作场所。对于第一种方法，我研究了为家庭主妇提供自己的生活空间（私人空间）的效果。对于后一种方法，我主要关注厨房。研究结果表明：(1)目前约60%的家庭主妇拥有自己的私人空间；(2)为家庭主妇提供私人空间对家庭成员之间的交流没有不良影响；(3)约50%的家庭主妇有私人空间，约30%的家庭主妇没有私人空间，他们注意到“为家庭主妇提供私人空间有助于家庭成员建立更多的独立性；(4)老年夫妇将厨房空间作为交流的场所；(5)为了让男性更多地参与到涉及食物的厨房工作中，需要激励和维持因素，特别是后者与空间的便利性有关；在未来，研究厨房的便利性在维持老年人的独立性方面将是很重要的。

The goal of this study is to develop house planning which enables 'all family members to have independent lifestyles. By independence we refer to independence in the home I.e. the ability to perform basic household chores in a self-motivated way. My purpose is to create a lifestyle based on the involvement of the entire family in housework and lifestyle management.This study uses two approaches. Ti reexamines first of all rigid ideas ng who is responsible for housework, and secondly, it looks at the home as aworkpace for household chores. Regarding the first approach, I researched the effects of providing the housewife with her own living space (private space). With the latter approach I focused primarily on the kitchen.The results of the study are : (1) approximately 60 percent of housewives currently have their own private space ; (2) providing housewives with a private space has no adverse effects on communication among family members ; (3) approximately 50 percent of housewives provided with private space and approximately 30percent of housewives not provided with private space noticed that "providing a private space for housewives helps establish more independence for family members ; (4) aged couples regard kitchen space h g as a place for communication ; (5) in order to have men participate more in kitchen work involving food, motivating and sustaining factors are required, the latter in particular being connected with the convenience of the space ; (6) in the future it will be important to study the convenience of the kitchen in terms of sustaining the independence of aged people.
