Creating the Cross-Searchable Databases of Bibliographical Catalogues for Classical Chinese Studies

随着信息技术的发展，台湾、美国、日本等国家的数字图书馆项目已经将主要的国学文献数字化，和中国另一方面，一些对古文研究有重要价值的二次文献，如书目，仍以印刷品的形式存在，我们的目标是建立一个可交叉检索的古文书目数据库。在项目实施期间，我们对惠科书目、保文堂书目、百川书目、徐氏家藏书目、曲品书目、古今书目等6种书目的数据库进行了建库、校对和修订。我们还在进行名代银行科目总录、全明分生分数科目考、高考本明清藏书木三中的数字化工作。因此，我们调整了CJK字符问题，并在Nikaido教授的网站（http：//www2.ipcku.kansai-u.ac.jp/cnikaido/）上提供了该数据库。在此过程中，我们还创建了多语言（CJK）搜索系统（UTF-8和Perl脚本），以及数据库（Microsoft Access），随后将在网站上发布。

With the development of information technology, major literature on Classical Chinese studies has already been digitalized in many digital library projects in Taiwan, U.S.A., and China. On the other hand, some secondary references such as bibliographical catalogues, which have essential value on Classical Chinese studies, are still left in the form of printed books.Our goal is to create cross-searchable databases of Classical Chinese bibliographical catalogues. This database enables us to search several catalogues at one time through the Internet, rather than flipping one catalogue by another in traditional printed book form.During the period of the project, we constructed, proofread, and revised the databases of 6 catalogues, which are Huike Shumu, Baowentang Shumu, Baichuan Shuzhi, Xushi Jiacang Shumu, Qu Pin, Gujin Shuke. We are also working on digitalization of Mingdai Banke Zonglu, Quan Ming Fensheng Fenxian Keshu Kao, Gaochaoben Ming Qing Cangshumu Sanzhong. Consequently, we adjusted CJK character problems and made the database available on the Internet in Professor Nikaido's website at : (http://www2.ipcku.kansai-u.ac.jp/~nikaido/).During the process, we also created the multi-lingual (CJK) search system by UTF-8 and Perl script, as well as databases by Microsoft Access, which will subsequently be posted on the website.
