To verify the implementation of these standards, the DINI-OAI Validator is an essential tool. It has established itself beyond certification intentions as a testing aid for repositories whose interface is to be validated qualitatively in principle. After many years of successful operation, the DINI-OAI Validator now needs a fundamental overhaul. The update of this important service as well as the adaptation of the form for its use is the subject of the project.
