Formation of Southeast Asian Civilization

这一研究项目的主要目的是考察外部世界通过各种媒介，无论是物质上还是精神上，对东南亚文明的影响。该项目将从1987年开始，为期四年。1987/88年度收集的材料不仅来自东南亚国家，而且还来自某些来源国，包括伊斯兰埃及、印度教印度、佛教斯里兰卡。在1988/89财政年度，每名研究人员都试图在其先前研究的基础上编写一份中期报告。部分研究结果将以油印形式发表在Tonan Ajia Kenkyu的期刊上，并将进一步投稿给该杂志。

The main object of this research project is to investigate the influences of the civilization which were brought in from outer world to Southeast Asia through various media, material or spiritual. The project is to be carried on for four years from 1987. In 1987/88 materials were collected not only from Southeast Asian countries but also from certain source countries including Islamic Egypt, Hindu India, Buddhistic Srilanka. In the fiscal year of 1988/89 each researcher tried to produce an interim report based on his preceding research. A part of the results is to be published in a mimeographed from and further to be contributed to the journal of Tonan Ajia Kenkyu.
