A survey concerning to computarized database of Middle Eastern written sources

1989年调查的目的是了解中东（土耳其、伊朗、叙利亚、以色列、埃及）人类研究领域的中东语言（阿拉伯语、波斯语、土耳其语）计算机文本数据库的现状。一般来说，土耳其和以色列占了上风；埃及紧随其后，伊朗和叙利亚则是弱智。总的来说，他们期望在他们的工作中使用中东语言文本数据库，因此他们等待我们目前正在从事的阿拉伯语、波斯语和土耳其语文本的日语数据库尽快完成并提供这些数据库。

The purpose of the investigation in the year of 1989 was to know the present situation of the computerized text database of Middle Eastern languages(Arabic,Persian,Turkish)in the field of human studies in the Middle East(Turkey,Iran,Syria,Israel,Egypt). Generally speaking, Turkey and Israel have the upper hand;Egypt comes after them and Iran and Syria are retarded.In General they expect the use of text database of the Middle Eastern Languages for their work, so they wait the Japanese databases of Arabic, Persian and Turkish texts, in which we are now engaged, to be accomplished and provided them soon.
