A study on the evaluation of CAI-learning through the monitoring of psychophysiological indices.

本研究旨在探讨通过监测心理生理指标来评价计算机辅助学习的方法。1995年，我们建立了心率监测系统和心率实时分析方法。对于紧张性心率，通过最大熵法得到心率的暂时性波动频谱来评价呼吸性窦性心律失常(RSA)。1996年，我们考察了智力低下儿童数概念的特点，阐明了促进数概念发展的方法。研究发现，智力低下儿童的书面数字与口语数字之间的等值关系呈发展趋势，而其他数字刺激之间的等值关系表现出发展滞后的趋势。当教材与学科数字概念的发展水平相适应时，出现了明显的HR下降现象。以上结果表明，对智力低下儿童进行计算机辅助教学是一种有效的评价学习过程的方法。

The present study aimed to investigate the method of evaluation of CAI-learning through the monitoring of psycho-physiological indices. In 1995, we constructed the system of monitoring of heart rates (HRs) and the method of real-time analysis of HRs. Regarding tonic HRs, respiratory sinus arrhythmia (RSA) was evaluated through the spectrum of temporary fluctuation of HRs which was obtained by the maximum entropy method. In 1996, we investigated the properties of number concept in children with mental retardation and clarified the facilitation method of development of number concept. It was found taht equivalent relationship between written numerals and spoken numbers tends to develop but the equivalent relationship between other numeral stimuli shows developmental lag in children with mental retardation. When the teaching material corespondents to the developmental level of subject's number concept, occurrence of clear decrease of HRs was observed. Above results indicated that the monitoring of HRs is effective to evaluate learning process of CAI in children with mental retardation.
