IRT analyses for International Legal Consciousness Survey Data

本研究对日本、中国和美国的国际法律意识调查数据进行了检验：1)不同国家F量表条目的因子分析结构是否相同；2)IRT量表方法是否适用于该数据；3)DIF分析方法是否适用于日本和美国的数据。结果表明：1)CHANA和日本/美国的因子分析结构不同；2)日本和美国的IRT量表成功地建立了因子分析结构；3)日美两国的F量表的大部分条目都检测到了DIF。

In this study, International Legal Consciousness Survey Data in Japan, China, and USA are examined : 1) whether factor analytical structure of F-scale items are the same or not in the different country, 2) whether IRT scaling method are applicable to this data or not, and, 3) DIF analysis are applied to Japan and USA data.The results show that : 1) Factor analytical structures are different between Chana and Japan/USA, 2) IRT scales are successfully established in Japan and USA data, 3) DIF are detected in almost items in F-scale between Japan and USA.
