Housing Supply process after Indian Ocean Tsunami in disaster-stricken urban area in Sumatra Island

本研究在遭受印度洋海啸重创的印度尼西亚苏门答腊岛班达亚齐市进行了实地调查。我们的调查持续了三年，监测了一系列恢复过程，即确定地块之间的边界，建造永久性房屋以及受影响的人入住后的实际情况。联合国生境特别重视住房供应。研究发现，Habitat以社区为基础的方式和施工管理非常有条理。

The research conducted field survey in Banda Aceh Municipality in Sumatra Island, Indonesia where devastatingly stricken by Indian Ocean Tsunami. Our survey continued for three years monitoring a series of recovery process, i.e. confirmation of boundaries between plots, construction of permanent houses and actual conditions after the affected people moved in. The special focus was given to the housing supply by United Nations Habitat. The research found out that Habitat's community-based approach and construction management were very skillfully organized.
