Development of Occupational Abilities for Japanese Industrial Teacher and Policies for Industrial Teacher Education after World War II

本研究旨在厘清工业教师职业能力发展与大学工业教师教育课程的关系。本研究对从事特色教育实习的工业教师职业能力的发展进行了分析。结果如下：工业教师必须非常熟悉工业世界，特别是工业技术，这些基础知识在大学里得到了教育。他们就业后，通过在职培训提高了职业能力。教师教育无论是在制度上还是在内容上都比较薄弱。然而，它具有重要意义，因为它是工业教育世界的介绍。

The purpose of this study is to clarify the relation between the development of occupational abilities of the industrial teacher and the university-based industrial teacher education curriculum. In this study, the development of occupational abilities of industrial teachers who had done characteristic educational practice was analyzed. The result is as follows : The industrial teacher had to be well acquainted with the industrial world, especially industrial technology, and these basics were educated at the university. After they had employed, they had improved occupational abilities in in-service training. The teacher education was poor both in the system and the content. However, it had significance as the introduction to the world of industrial education.
