Everyday Practice of African-American Muslims : A Cultural Anthropological Approach

这项文化人类学研究的重点是在美国多个地点的穆斯林，并比较他们的叙述，他们的日常做法，以及他们的价值观和制度的建设和转变的过程。为了弄清伊斯兰教的地方性和穆斯林的多样性，本研究收集了底特律和纽约两个城市有关非裔美国穆斯林的书籍和资料以及实地数据。并对笔者在田野调查和资料收集过程中遇到的问题进行了理论上的探讨。

This cultural anthropological study focuses on Muslims in multiple locations in the U.S. and compares their narratives, their everyday practices, and their processes of construction and transformation of the values and institution. In order to clarify the locality of Islam and the diversity of Muslims, this study collects the books and materials, as well as the field data, regarding the African-American Muslims in Detroit and New York. It also theoretically explores the problematic that I have encountered in the course of my fieldwork and material collection.
