Emergence of multifunctional property correlations induced bythe order structure formation of polypeptide helix.

合成了具有咔唑侧链的聚L-谷氨酸酯（PCELG）作为空穴传输材料，用于掺杂染料的聚合物电致发光器件。对于绿色和蓝色光，发现使用PCELG的EL器件（PCELG器件）表现出与使用聚（N-乙烯基咔唑）（PVK）的那些相当的发光效率。PCELG器件的最大效率强烈依赖于成膜过程中使用的铸塑溶剂，其最大值为20倍。通过椭圆偏振分析指出，PCELG器件的溶剂依赖性是由于发射层/ITO电极界面附近PCELG链的聚集结构所致。

Helical poly(L-glutamate) with carbazole(Cz) side chains(PCELG) was synthesized as a hole-transport material for a dye-doped polymer electroluminescence(EL) device. For green and blue light, EL devices using PCELG(PCELG device) was found to exhibit luminance efficiencies comparable to those using poly(N-vinyl carbazole)(PVK). The maximal efficiencies of PCELG devices strongly depend on the casting solvents used during the film-forming process, which amount to the 20 times at the maximum. We pointed out that the solvent dependence of PCELG device attributed to the aggregation structure of PCELG chain at around the interface of the emitter layer/ITO electrode from the ellipsometric analysis.
