Seismic Behavior of Damper Connection and its Surrounding Members in Passive-control Structures

1995年神户地震后，日本大多数主要高层建筑都采用了被动控制。然而，这些研究大多是测试隔震阻尼器或简单的组件，忽略了框架部件和阻尼器连接对系统性能的影响。为了评价支撑式和墙式阻尼器连接的梁柱组合体的弹塑性性能，进行了混合控制试验和数值研究。

Passive-control is used for most major Japanese high-rise buildings after the 1995 Kobe earthquake. Nevertheless, the majority of these studies have tested isolated dampers or simple subassemblies which neglect the influence of the framing components and the damper connections on the system performance. In order to evaluate the elasto-plastic behavior of beam-column subassemblies with brace-type and wall-type damper connections, hybrid-control experiments and numerical studies are carried out.
