Studies on Information Access across Languages, Periods, and Cultures

在本研究中，我们建立了跨语言，跨时期，跨文化的信息访问技术，旨在促进近年来迅速增加的数字化历史文献的有效利用。具体来说，开发了“日本古代史料的文本处理技术”、“人文数据库的多语种综合检索系统”、“传统蒙古文文献数字图书馆”、“多语种网页制作支援系统”、“基于概率模型的信息推荐技术”等。

In this research, we established information access techniques across languages, periods, and cultures, with the aim of promoting effective use of digitized historical documents, which are rapidly increasing in recent years. Specifically, we developed "text processing techniques for ancient Japanese historical materials","multilingual integrated search system for humanities databases","digital library of documents in traditional Mongolian script","system for supporting creation of multilingual web pages", and "information recommendation techniques based on probabilistic models".
