A study on the influence between the students' relations and their English-speaking performance

本研究旨在探讨学生在两人一组的英语聊天中，课堂关系对口语输出的影响。他们（n=88）被分为两种不同类型的配对;人际关系良好或不好的配对。通过超QU检验的结果来衡量这些关系。结果表明，那些认为自己能保持良好人际关系的学生比另一组更能保持英语聊天的停顿，而且他们也能在一个话题中产生更多的单词。

This study was conducted to find out how students’ relations in their classroomsinfluence on their speaking output when they chat in English in pairs. They (n=88) were divided into two different-type pairs; pairs whose human relationships are going well, or not. The relationships were measured by the result of the hyper-QU test. Results showed that students who felt they could keep a good human relationship sustained their English chat without fewer pauses rather than the other group, and they could also produce more words within a topic.
