The structural change and its impact in Korean car parts supply chain.

本研究考察了韩国汽车产业从以支持型供应链管理为主向强调利用全球供应商的协调型供应链管理的结构转变。此外，我还打算通过与日本汽车行业的供应链管理进行比较，来说明这一变化的影响。最后，笔者对韩国汽车业供应链管理的结构变化进行了评价，结果发现：首先，在上世纪90年代末S的韩国经济危机的转机阶段，韩国汽车业的“协调型供应链”已经趋于理性；其次，随着全球市场形势的变化，随着韩国汽车企业的发展壮大，主要汽车制造商对核心供应商的内部化和支持变得更加重要。

This study examined the structural shift of Korean automotive industry from the “Type of Supportive SCM” which was the dominant perspective to the “Type of Coordinative SCM” which put an emphasis on using global suppliers. Also, I intended to show the impact of this change in comparison with the SCM of Japanese automotive industry. Finally, I tried to evaluate the structural change of the SCM in Korean automotive industry.As a result, I found out that firstly the “Type of Coordinative SCM” in the Korean automotive industry had been rational during the phase of turnaround from the crisis of the Korean economy in the late 1990’s. Secondly, as the situation of global market changes, and as Korean car companies grow, internalization and supporting of core suppliers by major car makers have become more important.
