The elucidation of the cause of adult caries based on the comprehensive analysis of plaque microbita

与有龋组相比，无龋组斑块中Gemella的分布率呈上升趋势。在无龋组的菌斑中，主要在生物被膜形成阶段检测到溶血性革兰氏杆菌。在患龋组斑块中，晚期以高比例检出病原菌和血型革兰氏杆菌，早期以溶血性革兰氏杆菌分布较高。这些结果表明，Gemella和Gemella speces在两组斑块中的分布率不同，提示Gemella可能参与了龋病的发生。

The distribution rate of Gemella in the plaque of the caries-free group showed the high tendency compared with that of the caries-experienced group. In the plaque of the caries-free group, G. haemolysans was detected predominantly duringthe biofilm formation stage. On the other hand, in the plaque of caries-experienced group,G. morbillorum and G. sanguinis were detected by the high ratio in the late stage, while G. haemolysans showed the high distribution rate in the early stage. These results indicate that the distribution rates of Gemella and Gemella spieces in a plaque differ between both groups, suggesting that Gemella may be involved in caries incidence.
