Coal industry and the local community : 1930s-50_s

本研究的重点是20世纪30年代至50年代煤炭工业的发展，同时九州和北海道地区之间的区域间比较。它呈现了战前北海道与九州之间煤矿行业劳动力市场的一个截然不同的侧面。比如煤矿的规模、与当地社区的关系、机械化的发展等差异。关于20世纪50年代的煤矿行业，我展示了一个新的争论点，关于劳资纠纷导致的产量不足，以及煤矿的用电量。

This study focused on development of coal industry in the 1930s1950s, while interregional comparisons between areas Kyushu and Hokkaido. It presented a quite different aspect about labor market of the coalmining industry between Hokkaido and Kyushu in the prewar period. There is this for differences such as a scale of a coal mine, relations with a local community, development of the mechanization. About the coal mining industry in the 1950s, I showed a new point at issue about an underproduction by a labor dispute, and the electricity use in a coal mine.
