The effect of direct renin inhibitor in the progression of rat crescentic glomerulonephritis model

为了研究阿利克仁是否能改善月牙体肾小球肾炎（GN）的肾损伤，我们研究了阿利克仁对大鼠月牙体肾小球肾炎（GN）模型的肾损伤。结果，aliskiren降低肾小球月牙率和蛋白尿，同时，aliskiren抑制肾MCP-1的表达。这些数据表明，aliskiren的治疗策略可能通过激活RAS和减少月牙体GN的炎症而对月牙体GN有益。

To examine whether aliskiren ameliorate renal injury in crescentic glomerulonephritis (GN), we investigated renal injury in rat crescentic GN model treated with aliskiren. As a result, aliskiren reduced % glomerular crescent and proteinuria, and also, aliskiren suppressed renal expression of MCP-1. These data suggest therapeutic strategy of aliskiren may prove beneficial for crescentic GN by the RAS activation and the decrease of inflammation in crescentic GN.
