Study on the degradation of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons in the excrement of Marphysa sanguinea

结果表明，血囊泡在沉积物上排泄后立即收集的排泄物中含有大量的多环芳烃，且在2 h内多环芳烃的浓度降低了一半。多环芳烃的快速减少可能与粪便中的微生物有关。为了验证推测，将粪便中的微生物在悬浮有芘的脂质培养基中孵育约2个月，并进行培养物中芘代谢物的提取和分析。因此，我们揭示了大量的代谢产物的芘的存在。

We have found the two interesting phenomena; the excrement of Marphysa sanguinea collected immediately after the organism excreted on sediment contained considerable amounts of PAHs, and the PAHs concentration reduced to half in 2 h. The rapid PAHs reduction might be attributed to the microorganisms in the excrement. To verify the speculation, the microorganisms in the excrement were incubated in the lipid medium suspended with pyrene for about 2 months, and extraction and analyses of a metabolite of pyrene in the culture were performed. As a result, we revealed the presence of a substantial metabolite of pyrene.
