SmpliCare's mission is to help people age with independence and care with confidence through our market leading, globally scalable healthy-ageing-as-a-service platform (HaaS).We work closely with customers to build simple digital solutions that are backed by research, driven by data, and designed to predict, prevent, and manage common health issues while empowering people to thrive at any age.Our vision for the project is to enhance and expand our foundational Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) solution into the HaaS Platform by conducting and implementing industrial research across three, high-impact focus areas and accompanying objectives over 17 months:**1) Increase Effectiveness:** Provide people with the tools and resources they need to be more empowered, impactful Carers of ageing loved ones. We develop a family Carer skills-development portal, build resources to improve health literacy, and expand our existing solution with new features and functionality.**2) Increase Automation:** Reduce the amount of customer engagement required to realise meaningful, consistent value. We will develop a process to normalize data from commoditized wearables for input into an algorithm to prevent falls in the elderly and catalogue a process for future algorithm development.**3)** **Implement Automation:** Incorporate outputs from the 'Increase Automation' focus area for release to market. We will incorporate the outputs from the prior focus area into our platform.By democratising medical research and applying advanced data analytics techniques previously only available to the healthcare system, Smplicare is bringing a new vision to what it means to age with independence and care with confidence. We will incorporate aspects of gamification and behavioural science to deliver an impactful user experience while presenting data in a personalised, elegant, easy-to-understand dashboard. This innovative combination of components applied specifically to promote healthy ageing will deliver a world class platform that does not currently exist in the market today.Our partners include The Data Lab based within the University of Edinburgh, Trust-Care to enhance family Carer skills, and Rationale to tell our story with customers in the market.
