Sentences, referents, and the metaphysics of propositions

我的研究涉及句子的指称对象：命题。我的目标是解决命题理论的两个长期存在的问题：统一性问题和谬误问题。通过分析当代理论的不足，并根据语言哲学和形而上学的最新发展，重新评估传统理论解决这些问题的资源，我打算对命题的形而上学性质提供一个新的描述。

My research concerns the referents of sentences: propositions. I aim to solve two persistent problems for theories of propositions: the problem of unity and the problem of falsity. By analysing deficiencies in contemporary theories, and reassessing traditional theories' resources for solving these problems in the light of recent developments in the philosophy of language and metaphysics, I intend to provide a new account of the metaphysical nature of propositions.
