Understanding UK digital comics information and publishing practices: From creation to consumption

The project will develop an empirically-grounded theory describing UK digital comics information and publishing practices and explains comic creators' motivationsand rationale driving those practices. Finally, the work will produce guidelines to inform UK digital comics collectionmanagement and digital preservation policy and content strategy development, supporting the BL and other knowledgeinstitutions in deciding what comic-related digital information to collect, preserve and provide future access to and how bestto do so.
