Adaptive and Explainable AI for Predicting and Profiling Patients in NHS Emergency Departments

This project aims to develop an adaptative and interpretable AI solution that accurately predicts clinical and demographical profiles of patients that will attend emergency departments. The predictive power of the model will also be able to highlight patients that either stay longer than expected or vice versa. Importantly, the model may help identify potential bottlenecks in the system, or when interventions have had a positive effect on patient care and satisfaction.
