英文摘要
This subproject is one of many research subprojects utilizing the
resources provided by a Center grant funded by NIH/NCRR. The subproject and
investigator (PI) may have received primary funding from another NIH source,
and thus could be represented in other CRISP entries. The institution listed is
for the Center, which is not necessarily the institution for the investigator.
he anterior insula has been implicated in both the experience and the
anticipation of negative outcomes. Although individual differences in
insular sensitivity have been associated with self-report measures of
chronic anxiety, previous research has not examined whether individual
differences in insular sensitivity predict learning to avoid aversive
stimuli. In the present study, insular sensitivity was assessed as
participants anticipated monetary losses while undergoing functional
magnetic resonance imaging.
