TISEC, a Montreal area company, has a uniquely new paradigm for bridge/machinery monitoring instrumentation with application issues that most likely can be addressed within a joint research project. The proposed research area has far reaching implications in the areas of structural integrity assessment with respect to metal fatigue and crack propagation, machinery condition monitoring, sensor signal acquisition and wireless radio propagation.
