Three-dimensional printing (3D-printing, 3-DP) is an additive manufacturing process has attracted tremendous interest from the world. As 3D printing becomes more and more approachable and affordable for individuals, both industry and academia are concerning with the capability and applications of current 3D printing technology. For FFF (Fused Filament Fabrication) 3D printing, the printing materials, i.e. filaments, being used are most limited to a few thermalplastic materials. Therefore, the printed structures or devices are often not functional or lacking of desired properties, like mechanical strength, thermal and/or electrical conductivity. It is expected that, like the current market for text and graphics printing, the largest share of the 3D printing market will quickly become the printing consumables. It is imperative to develop new 3D printing materials to broaden the range of applications of 3D printing.
