The primary goal of this workshop is to connect aquaculture industry representatives with researchers and regulators to understand how the impacts of climate change may affect the industry and strategize research approaches that will ensure Canadian aquaculture's ongoing viability through the pending effects of climate change. Ultimately, this workshop aims to coordinate outcomes with the Pacific coast companion workshop, to publish joint findings and to explore the development of an Aquaculture Climate Change Network.
