In this paper, we present some basic properties concerning the quasiderivation algebraand the quasicentroid algebraof a Novikov algebraA. Furthermore, we determine the dimension of Novikov algebrasAwith condition. We also show that the quasiderivations ofAcan be embedded as derivations in a larger Novikov algebra.
