This grant will support travel and related expenses for participants in the 1989 General Assembly of the International Association of Volcanology and Chemistry of the Earth's Interior (IAVCEI) to be held in Santa Fe, New Mexico June 25-July 1, 1989. The Santa Fe General Assembly represents the first time a meeting of IAVCEI will be held in the Conterminous U. S. A. The meeting is important for disseminating results of recent volcanological research to a wide audience of volcanologists, and for promoting further interchange among members of this research community.
