Architecture and Properties of Polymer Systems

本研究工作包括：(1)互穿聚合物网络的合成、表征、微观结构、掺杂碘样品的电导率及其形成和性质的计算机模拟；模板效应对共聚反应的影响；(3)基于蒙特卡罗模拟的聚合物动态弛豫时间研究；(4)大的静态或动态诱导各向异性对聚合物体系的影响。在这些主题中，他们将强调聚合物结构和异构（包括拓扑异构）的影响。本研究是一个理论和实验相结合的项目，旨在将物理性质与聚合物的分子结构联系起来。

This research consists of work on: (1) Interpenetrating polymer networks-their synthesis, characterization, microstructure, electrical conductivity of iodine-doped samples and the computer simulation of their formation and properties; (2) Template effects on copolymerization; (3) The study of polymer dynamical relaxation times by biased sampling Monte Carlo simulations; and (4) The effects of large static or dynamically induced anisotropy on polymer systems. In each of these topics they will stress the influence of polymer architecture and isomerism (including topological isomerism). This research is a combined theoretical and experimental project designed to relate physical properties with the molecular architecture of polymers.
