9714111 Blumenthal, Marjory National Academy of Sciences Special Project: Core Support for the Activities of the Computer Science and Telecommunications Board This award provides for 3 year support for the meeting activities of the Computer Science and Telecommunications Board of the National Academy of Science. The Board provides studies on the health of the U.S. computer science and telecommunications and their applications. It draws on the expertise of national leaders in the field and receives input from representatives of government agencies with computing and communications research missions, Congress, industry, and major federal users of information technology. In the last 10 years the Board has completed more than 45 reports.
