Internationalisation is understood as a processual phenomenon, whereby the respective actors gradually or incrementally adapt to the changes in their environment or in the general conditions affecting their activities. The findings of this study can be used both to derive recommended actions for tourism enterprises in the case study country Jordan, and for the enhancement of central elements with potential for success in the process of internationalisation.
