e for circadian transcription and molecular clock function. In addition, we aim to elucidate the, surprisingly, largely unknown role of CYC for post-translational regulation of CLK. Results of these studies will identify key molecular and cell biological mechanisms that constitute and temporally regulate the circadian clock, providing insights into general mechanisms of temporally controlled transcription.
