Research Experience for Teachers Site in Mechatronics

This award provides funding for a three year continuing award to Polytechnic University of New York for the support of a Research Experiences for Teachers Site in Mechatronics under the direction of Dr. Vikram Kapila. This program will provide ten pre-college teachers from New York City school districts with the opportunity to promote and enhance their technical competency and professional development in the areas of science, technology, engineering and mathematics, specifically in the exciting field of mechatronics.
