Workshop on Summer Research Experiences in Materials and Manufacturing Engineering for Community College Students

This award provides funding to Loyola Marymount University, for the support of a Research Experiences for Teachers (RET) Workshop at LMU on March 1, 2003. This workshop will bring together NSF Principal Investigators supported by four NSF Directorates, K-12 teachers, and community college faculty from the Los Angeles area for the purpose of describing the opportunities for teachers and community college faculty to participate in a research experience with an NSF-funded principal investigator.
