This award supports the travel, subsistence and registration expenses of 25 student participants in the Fourth International Joint Conference on Autonomous Agents and Multi-Agents Systems (AAMAS), being held July 25-29, 2005 in Utrecht, the Netherlands. This conference is entirely devoted to all aspects of research and application of agents technology, an important area of computer science research in domains such as information retrieval, user interfaces, electronic commerce, robotics, computer mediated collaboration, computer games, ubiquitous computing, social simulation, education, and training. Participation in this conference will allow a diverse group of students, representing a wide range of research areas and methodologies, to present their research to the agents' community. In addition, special mentoring activities are planned for them.
